Yet not officially announced by HTC, it seems that O2 Germany spilled the beans and informed their retail partners that it will carry the "HTC One mini" from early August on. As a matter of fact, an availability is expected from 3rd of August. In the recent months we have seen and heard rumors of the smaller version of HTC's current hero device, the HTC One. However, so far HTC was shy about making anything official. However, if a carrier confirms its retail partners an upcoming availability, the launch can be expected a given. According to German Teltarif, O2 Germany neither unveiled any further details of the HTC One mini and therefore are neither the specs nor the price are confirmed as of today.
However, it's expected that the One mini will only feature a 4.3" 720p HD screen, instead the One's 4.7" 1080p screen, but will also feature the same UltraPixel camera technology - hopefully with OIS. Other expected - but yet totally unconfirmed - specs are a 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 400 dual-core CPU, 1 or 2 GB RAM, an internla memory of 16 GB, Android 4.2.2 and - for sure - HTC Sense 5.
Cheers ~ Arne
