RUMOR: Is Samsung working on the SGH-i900 Windows Mobile Smartphone?

Italian website KataWeb claims it received information of a so far unknown Samsung Windows Mobile smartphone expected to be called the Samsung SGH-i900. According to KataWeb, the i900 features Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as UMTS/HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and WiFi.
A real highlight could be the 5 megapixel autofocus camera. While Samsung has some experiences in this field, we haven't seen such a camera in Windows Mobile devices yet. Furthermore the i900 should includes GPS and a FM radio:

Last but not least, the i900 should feature a 3.5" 240 x 400 pixel bio touch kind of touchscreen (as used for the Samsung SGH-i780 already) as well as an optical joystick, we have seen with the i780 already too (see our previous video view here). The 8 GB inbuilt memory can be expanded using microSD cards.

The Samsung SGH-i900 isn't officially announced yet but KataWeb expects an announcement during the Mobile World Congress (formerly known as 3GSM World Congress) in Barcelona next month.

I am not sure of this rumor but i think if it does come out, it will be very nice to own one of this fab phone.

Already the i780 is yet to launch and now this.

Technology is always such a great think to look forward to.

Arne, do you think this i900 comes with a QWERTY keyboard and scroll wheel?

No, I don't think it comes with a slide-out keyboard - which would be the Windows Mobile version of the Qbowl and as you said - the keyboard device is most likely the SGH-i780.
All other features, like scroll-wheel, etc are in the dust yet but I hope I can tell you more next month.
