The Boy Genius Report got the word that Motorola plans to upgrade its "Motorola Ming" A1200 to Windows Mobile. Should this be the return of the Pocket PC platform after Motorola hadn't had much luck with the MPx Pocket PC Phone Edition which was innovative but never (really) released? In a weird twist of fate, the new Ming won't run the JUIX operating system anymore, but will in fact run Windows Mobile. The reason for the change, as BGR has been told, is that JUIX can not support 3G right now. Motorola has barely even started development on it actually.
Further features might be HSDPA and a 2 megapixel camera. Well, let's wait
and see what we will get at the end and where the upgraded Ming might be
released or not.
Cheers ~ Arne
