Macrospecs, Inc. just announced the launch of FriendMobilizer, a Windows Mobile application that gives users full access to their Facebook account. Viewing friends' info, writing on walls, looking at photo albums, and changing his/her status is a small example of the wide list of the features available to users at their fingertips. Not only does FriendMobilizer run on the majority of Windows Mobile smartphones and Pocket PCs, it also allows you to get notifications sent straight to the home screen. You'll be able to approve friend requests, view group/event invites, find out about new wall posts and messages, and much more.

FriendMobilizer is completely free and can be downloaded from

Oh, really? :-( That's too bad and wasn't mentioned in the press release. Will ask the developer if it is possible to the rest of the world as well.

Update: Just got a feedback from Macrospecs:

We will open it up to the rest of the world in the next release.

No timing given.

Meanwhile, if you have Fring's last version, you can use the new Add-On for Facebook. It does exactly the same and is open to the whole world. It is worth upgrading if you already have Fring installed.
