What an amazing month. Within 20 days the complete stock of the PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition went out of stock again and your interest into the device was huge! 8O
I received tons of E-Mail enquiries and I hope I was able to answer all the questions. But if I see this interest from you guys, it makes me confident that Microsoft and their partners are on the right way with the Windows Mobile Phone Edition 2003 because I never thought about such an interest into the device when I ordered it the first time.

Regarding the stock: a new batch is already ordered and I still have a couple of devices here on which I'm still await the money transfer payments. In case I don't receive the payments I will make them available through the shop for sure but the amount will be pretty limited anyway.

In case you are interested into the PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition I suggest to subscribe to the PPCW.Net i-Mate Phone Edition newsletter where I will announce the next availability first. To do so, please keep in mind that you have to create a shopping card first!

As soon as I know more I will announce it here! If you have any further questions please let me know!

Cheers ~ Arne

Great job Arne, I think it was the FREE Worldwide

Ground Shipping that got em!

I also agree that the free shipping is great!! smile  However, the price of the unit went up about $56US from just a month ago.  I was very, VERY seriously considering one of these devices, but just could not justify the cost.

If they come down to about half this price, I would pick one up, no questions.  In the mean time, I had to go with another PDA Phone...for me the iMate was just too expensive.

Sorry Arne!  I feel bad; but I just couldn't afford the iMate PPC-PE.

Kind Regards,

Christopher Spera

The reason for the increased USD price was that I had to justify the exchange rate because of the weak USD compared to the Euro... :-( (See here for the full story http://www.theunwired.net/forum/v...).

However, because of that I decided to give you guys a bonus and added the free ground shipping but most devices were ordered via FedEx anyway - who want to wait two weeks to get this gadget... ;-) I wouldn't either...

Maybe you could consider selling also power supplies for HTC made smartphones and Pocket PC phones - they all have the same connector. I need to buy one and nowhere to found...

I got mine last Thursday, about 7 days via Deutsche Post Airmail.  It was a tough wait, but well worth it...

Thanks Arne.

Arne,

I am not surprized that you have sold out your complete stock once more. The quality of service that you provide even BEFORE a purchase is made is just amazing. Even so much so that here in Pakistan people are getting the phone from you delivered to the US (to some relative/friend) and then get it delivered to Pakistan. This forum is sure one nice forum and Arne is one nice guy. Keep it up.
