Since last week, it's somewhat official that Microsoft employees are trialing a near-final Windows Phone Mango build which now features the long awaited Twitter integration. And Microsoft is kind enough to share a video with us showing how the Twitter - and LinkedIn - integration works. As expected, Twitter (and LinkedIn) will be part of the Peoples hub and showing the new stream in a similar way as Windows Live and Facebook updates were shown so far. However, Microsoft also realized that that a unified news stream with Windows Live, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn updates can become pretty noisy and therefore added the option in Mango to select which news streams should be displayed.
Furthermore, Microsoft is adding a social network notifications to Mango which shows social network notification on the Windows Phone Start screen's "Me tile". This will notifies the user about Facebook Wall postings, Twitter mentions or photo taggings.
