THOUGHT: Why SPAM is so annoying

THOUGHT: Why SPAM is so annoying

The most (only) annoying E-Mails I got on my trip to Oslo was these f§$%&@# spam mails. While, here at home, spam doesn't "really" hurts me, on my Pocket PC it hurts me even more. No one of this lousy Spam senders should tell me "it's just an E-Mail, you can delete it" if I'm paying per transferred KB what I do if I'm accessing my E-Mails wireless through GPRS. In that case, Spam becomes really expensive and I have to pay for it. So it's not only wasting my "limited" storage space on Pocket PCs but robbing my money right out of my pocket. :-(

So here is my wish, I would like to see that E-Mail providers (doesn't matter if Hotmail or domain hosting services) filters this Spam messages and delete it right after it hits my server inbox that I don't have to download it anymore. Everything else would be useless, you have to delete it right from the server after it arrived.

So please - dear E-Mail services - do something against Spam, otherwise a lot of the wireless users will run out of money in future... :-(

Cheers ~ Arne

Yes, you are right! Also here on my DSL line I have to pay per bit so Spam is hitting me also! Howver, it is true that receiving Spam wireless is more expensive and could kill wireless eMail access.
Your thought is right that the mail providers has to provide some serious solutions against Spam! :-(

I fixed this by havin Two Mail Address,s  (Easy on most ISPs).

One is Friends Only and SERIOUS Services that I pay for an can therfore get ANGRY if they send out my Mail.

The other is MRTRASH@X,  this I use for everythin else.

So when the SPAM hits it is Only picked up by Home PC  not my PPC,  PPC is set to only accept 1K per Message  (Enough for most Good Mail) and as it is only Friends that have the Address  where in Business.
