While Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 NoDo update is on its way to a smartphone near you, one question remains: When will it hit your new device to provide you the latest and greatest improvements like copy & paste, Marketplace search update and faster apps launch and resuming? Well, until yesterday we had to rely on information from the carriers and thankfully some of them responded. However, most other carriers left their customers in the dust but now, Microsoft followed up and published a "Where's my Phone Update" page for the U.S. and Rest of the World update schedules. According to both pages, all carriers are still testing or scheduling the NoDo update - only open market handset are mentioned to receive the update already.

While these lists are not going into details, telling the customer on which day, in which week, in which month they can expect the NoDo update, at least it's a good indication what's the status of your carrier might be. Hopefully Microsoft will continue to maintain the lists and updating the status on a weekly base.

Cheers ~ Arne
