Yes, we know that Microsoft will release its first Windows Phone 7 update, code named "NoDo", anytime soon but so far Microsoft hasn't given any further information when their smartphone customers will get copy & paste as well as further under the hood improvements. However, after some rumors made the round that it might be delayed to anytime later this spring, earlier today Microsoft Germany just tweeted from it's German Windows Phone Twitter account that in the recent days, they got "more and more questions regarding the update" and that Microsoft "doesn't want to wet up" its users, attaching a link to the Mobile World Congress keynote page.
However, in my humble opinion it's unlikely that Google's Eric Schmidt or Twitter's Dick Costelo will be able to comment but most likely it's Steve Ballmer who can tell us more. And after Microsoft said at the recent CES that Windows Phone 7's first firmware update is expected to be released within the next weeks, it's the right time for Microsoft's CEO to tell use when exactly it will happen.
In any case, we'll see and hear more next Monday at 16:00 CET and I'll be at Microsoft to follow Steve Ballmer's keynote.
Cheers ~ Arne
