Do you remember our recent news that European versions of the Palm Pre Plus and Palm Pixi Plus were approved by the Global Certification Forum? Looks like the cat is out of the bag now and French SFR is the first European carrier to carry Palm's new GSM/UMTS webOS-based smartphones! SFR has just launched a special promotion page, featuring the "Palm Pre en version plus" and "Palm Pixi en version plus" where interested customers can pre-register for further information. However, neither Palm nor SFR have announced the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus for Europe yet but both companies announced a cooperation agreement - back in January!
And while there's no official price announcement yet, the terms and conditions of the raffle unveil that SFR's Palm devices are SIM-locked and the Palm Pre Plus is expected to retail for 479 Euro while the Palm Pixi Plus is expected to retail for 349 Euro. Furthermore it can be expected that both smartphones will become available anytime between now and May 30.
