In addition to the Ultimate 8502, i-mate announced another Windows Mobile smartphone today - the i-mate Ultimate 9502. A Sidekick-look alike Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone, featuring a thumb-keyboard under the sliding display.
Powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7200 chip at 400 MHz, the Ultimate 9502 supports quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as triband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA, WiFi b/g Bluetooth 2.0+EDR and even supports GPS. Backed-up by 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM, the memory can be extended using microSD cards. Last but not least, the device features a 3.0 megapixel auto focus camera with photo light and a 2.8" VGA touchscreen:

Like all other i-mate Ultimate devices, also the Ultimate 9502 features video output for projectors and displays.

Again, i-mate has unveiled another Windows Mobile smartphone without giving details about the planned release date or price.

Cheers ~ Arne

Looks good but I lost all faith into i-mate since I bought my last device from you Arne.
As long as i-mate was HTC everything was fine but they're not releasing ROM updates anymore nor are they launching their announced devices.

If you ask me, i-mate have to prove first that they are seriously back into business.
