UNVEILED: Is Samsung releasing a BlackJack look-alike Pocket PC Phone Edition? [UPDATE]

Pocket PC Thoughts has spotted a YouTube video which shows a demo of a Treo 750-like Samsung Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone, recorded during the Gitex earlier this month.
While one of the highlighted features is a navigable mouse pointer controlled by some "scroller" mechanism underneath the screen, I can see even more interesting features:
It's sporting the Orange typical Home screen design (should this be an indication that Orange is going to launch this unknown beauty?) and furthermore the touch screen is plain to the housing (think of a HTC Touch) which makes this device looking like a non-touch screen device (on the first sight):

Furthermore I wonder if this is 240 x 240 or 320 x 320 pixel screen (which would be theoretically supported by Windows Mobile 6)?
All this is pretty mysterious and it seems no one else, except DinarSoft which recorded this video, has spotted the device.

UPDATE: Okay, I've watched the video over and over again and it seems to have a front-facing camera (right above the Samsung name on top, similar to the front-facing camera of the SGH-i600) which indicates that it is at least a UMTS device (for Europe and Asia since North America isn't supporting UMTS video telephony at the moment).

Cheers ~ Arne

that video doesn't make that track ball or d-pad or whatever it is in the center look all that comfortable or easy to use.

Hello Arne,

I have played with this device last week and it is really exciting. ;-)

The mouse is really easy to use and this way you can use this Samsung with one hand.

wawaweewa! if those specs are true this device will be on my shortlist of qwerty bar phones smile so far i have the
iPAQ 900c series
UBI 503G
after using the Treo I'm not sure if I can go back to a slider device... the qwerty bar is just much more practical.
if it's 320 x 320 does it mean we can use apps for 240 x 320 [or will the apps be stretched???]

If you look at the Today and Program screens you will see it looks exactly the same as a 240x240 screen. There is no increase in the number of lines or icons available.
Pictures and smaller fonts will be clearer, and you'll see slightly more in IE's high-res mode, but that's all.
