latest rendering we was nearly right, except the fact that LG's new Windows
Mobile smartphone also features a kind of joystick navigation but seems to have
QVGA resolution only (unfortunately). Korean website Aving now published some
official information of the LG KS20 which is LG's long time rumored Windows
Mobile smartphone. Featuring Windows Mobile 6 as well as UMTS and HSDPA (up to
3.6 Mbps), the device is 12.8 mm thick only and sports a 2.8" touch screen
display with full browsing capability.
As expected, the camera was reduced to 2 megapixel only (unfortunately).
Somewhat interesting looks the Today screen interface which seems to have a LG
customized plugin on the bottom:
Other features Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi (which isn't mentioned yet but the
screenshot above indicates WiFi). Nevertheless, Vodafone, which is expected to
launch it later this year in Europe,
is expected to exclude WiFi from its version of the LG KS20.
Prices and further details aren't available yet but LG is expected to officially
announce the KS20 during the IFA which starts end of this week in Berlin,
Cheers ~ Arne
