In the recent weeks, especially around Microsoft's recent MIX11, we have heard a lot about Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone Mango upgrade but through yesterday's Windows Phone Developer Podcast, Brandon Watson Microsoft seems to have unveiled further features Mango will come with. First of all, it's reported that "Bing Audio" will be able to search for music. Similar to Shazam, Microsoft's Bing search will be able to identify music tracks which the user will be able to directly purchase from Zune market. With "Bing Vision", Microsoft's search engine will allows to scan QR-codes and results should be shown in Bing. Furthermore, Windows Phone will finally support "Podcasts" which will allow to subscribe and download them straight from and to the device.
Thanks to the cooperation with Nokia, Windows Phone's Map application will also get an out of the box "Turn-By-Turn GPS Navigation" with Windows Phone Mango. Last but not least, Windows Phone will also get "Speech to Text" for SMS messages which will allows to dictate text messages.
Microsoft's Windows Phone Mango upgrade is expected to be released later in fall 2011.
