While neither T-Mobile nor Nokia have announced anything official yet, Nokia has already uploaded its Nokia Lumia 710 T-Mobile edition press shots to the server and it's expected that the announcement will be made later today. Not being anything different from the world wide edition, Nokia announced back in October, it seems T-Mobile's Lumia 710 will come in two colors, white and black/white, sporting a T-Mobile logo on the front and featuring some preinstalled software like ESPN, The Weather Channel as well as Nokia Drive, Nokia's very navigation software for Windows Phone. Furthermore the press shots show 4G which means the Lumia 710 works nice with T-Mobile's HSPA+ 3.5G network.

If the T-Mobile's North American Lumia 710 will be the same as the original Lumia 710, it means that it will come with support for WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 as well as aGP. The devices WVGA TFT touchscreen measures 3.7" and the 5 megapixel autofocus camera comes with a supporting flash LED and allows to record 720p HD videos up to 30 fps.

Including the 1300 mAh battery, the 710 measures 119 x 62.4 x 12.5 mm and weights 125.5 g. It comes with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB flash storage. It comes with Nokia exclusive experiences optimized for Windows Phone, including Nokia Drive, which delivers a full-fledged personal navigation device (PND) with free, turn-by-turn navigation and dedicated in-car-user-interface; and Nokia Music introducing MixRadio, a free, global, mobile music-streaming application that delivers hundreds of channels of locally-relevant music. In an update delivered later this year, Nokia Lumia users will also gain the ability to create personalized channels from a global catalogue of millions of tracks. Also integrated in Nokia Music is Gigfinder, providing the ability to search for live local music for a complete end-to-end music experience, as well as the ability to share discoveries on social networks and buy concert tickets also coming in the Nokia Music software update delivered later this year.

UPDATE: The press release is out now and according to it, the Nokia Lumia 710 is expected to be available from 11. January at T-Mobile retail stores, dealers, retailers nationwide and online for US$ 49.99 (after a US$ 50 mail-in-rebate card, with a two-year service agreement and qualifying Classic voice and data plan). Yes, that's right in time for after the holidays!

Cheers ~ Arne
