UNVEILED: Orange UK prepares for Orange SPV E610 Windows Mobile Smartphone launch

First time we have seen the Orange SPV E610 back in August, when AT&T planned to release this Windows Mobile Standard smartphone, manufactured by Chinese ODM Amoi, as the SMT5700. While the SMT5700 never hit AT&T stores, it looks like Orange UK is ready to launch this 2.5G Windows Mobile Standard smartphone soon (hopefully with Windows Mobile 6, not with Windows Mobile 5.0 as approved by the FCC back in March 2007).
While Orange UK hasn't unveiled too much information yet, it seems to be confirmed that the E610 is a 2.5G device only, sporting Bluetooth but not WiFi, a QWERTY thumb-keyboard and a 2 megapixel camera:

But that's it, neither a word about the Windows Mobile version nor a word about the price or planned release date. Anyway, since it's an ODM product supporting 2.5G only, it shouldn't be too expansive - so it might be an interesting option if you are looking for a thumb-keyboard smartphone.
