Yesterday, Samsung and Korean carrier SK Telecom have announced the first Android 2.1 smartphone - the SHW-M100S. Featuring Android 2.1/Eclair, the SHW-M100S is powered by an 800 MHz CPU and sports a 3.7" AMOLED WVGA touchscreen, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with 720p video recording support, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, Korean's mobile TV standard T-DMB, DivX, a 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack and Samsung's TouchWiz UI as well as access to Google's mobile applications and Android Market.

While the features above sounds pretty promising, it's not expected that Samsung will launch the SHW-M100S outside Korea but it will arrive in March on SK Telecom only. A price wasn't announced.
Cheers ~ Arne
