While Samsung has yet not officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab - the company's first Android tablet - a recently activated teaser page, unveiled via Twitter, shows what the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be about and confirms an official announcement during next week's IFA in Berlin. According to the teaser page, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will feature Android 2.2, video telephony (and therefore a front facing camera like the Galaxy S), HD video playback, full web browsing and a 7" screen! Yet to be confirmed is if the Galaxy Tab will also come with Samsung's TouchWiz 3 interface and which wireless standards and frequencies are supported. However, the 20 seconds teaser makes appetite for more!
Samsung is holding an international press conference on September 2nd in Berlin where we will report from live. Stay tuned for more information!
UPDATE: I have yet double checked the Global Certification Forum and the Samsung Galaxy Tab aka GT-P1000 has yet not received an GCF approval which makes it very unlikely that the device will be available within the next 4 - 6 weeks.
