If you are with Verizon Wireless but interested in the HTC Touch, Engadget Mobile got an interesting about about the Verizon Wireless XV6900 Touch, Verizon Wireless' EV-DO version of the HTC Touch, featuring, like its Sprint cousin, Windows Mobile 6 and a 2 megapixel camera and - according Engadget Mobile - GPS!
All the rest stay pretty much the same - except the white housing which doesn't looks too bad, even if I'm not sure if white is still hip:

No price or release date yet but a couple more user guide scans over at Engadget Mobile.

Cheers ~ Arne

titanMogul vs vogue
Don’t be fooled - - on so many levels the 6900 is a downgraded version of the xv6800.
-    still no (built-in) gps
-    same ‘gpsOne module’: unlocked weeks after the smartphone techies find the hack and liberate it.
-    removed: the keyboard
-    removed:  wi-fi , b & g
-    removed:  IR(infrared gate)
-    removed:  rotary scroll wheel
-    removed:   the camera flash
-    same 1.9MP camera lens, where’s the improvement?
-    less ringtone melody: 40 chords instead of 128.
-    lower battery life: 1100 mAh battery instead of  the old 1500 mAh
-    weight: 112 grams instead of 165 grams
-    USB 2.0 instead of USB 1.1; big whoop
-    128 Mb RAM instead of 64 MB
-    non-heteralsexual-color
So we’ve taken 1 step forward and 9 steps back. Anyone want an xv6800 now? So what if it has added RAM and it turns on faster, you are retarded if you want this when it’s released next month.
VZW-youSuck, fire your entire product&marketing dept.  Tell HTC to produce a 6800 with an actual built-in GPS like the Q9hGlobal or gsm/Tilt or BlackjackII.    Then - actually make it available to us Verizon costumers held hostage by the stench of your marketing schemes, outdated phones and superior Tier 1 network.

dude, you have no idea what you are talking about.  the phone is about 3 times smaller what do you expect it to have everything that the 6800 phone had.  after all your prospective or upgrade is very different than that of verizon's.  this phone has a full screen touch keyboard that works flawlessly and smoothly.  who needs the flash, actually cellphone cameras aren't that useful anyways. IT DOES HAVE GPS. i don't have time to comment on every complain of yours but trust me you keep your 6800 and i'll kick your ass with my 6900.
