UNVEILED: Vodafone's new VDA IV Windows Mobile Smartphone passes FCC

We have heard the rumors of a new Windows Mobile based Smartphone coming from Vodafone already and now, the good pals over at the FCC have uploaded the specs and some photos of Vodafone's latest Windows Mobile VPA.
Following other carriers like O2 Asia, it looks like also Vodafone is looking after some other manufactures since this device isn't an HTC Smartphone but coming from AsusTek. According to the FCC, the VPA IV is sporting Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone, featuring UMTS and triband GSM/GPRS, 128 MB ROM and 64 MB SDARM which can be extended through microSD memory cards, a 2.2-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth 1.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 1100mAh battery. However, since it is addressing the business market, Vodafone left the photo camera as well as a video telephony camera on the front:

Neither a release date nor a price was given yet but if it appears on the FCC now, it might be still released this year.

Cheers ~ Arne
