HTC has just started to roll-out a 214 MB large firmware update for its recently released European HTC One mini Android smartphone, which was initially released with Android 4.2.2. I wouldn't expect an upgrade to Android 4.3 because the change-log says that v1.32.401.2 is said to include camera stability improvements, microphone and audio stability enhancements and performance improvements as well as USB tethering stability improvements. That's not too much for a 214 MB ROM update which is roughly half the size of the full firmware. Therefore I expect that the update contains further improvements and changes, even if they are yet nowhere documented.
We reached out to HTC and asked what other improvements or changes the update might contain. In the meantime we are installing it on our One mini. Have you also received the update notification and have you noticed any other changes or improvements?
UPDATE: HTC confirmed me that the improvements and enhancements above "includes exactly what it says: camera, audio, USB, etc., updates, as well as improvements to performance". So no more hidden enhancements, except maybe, general performance improvements.
Cheers ~ Arne
