Finally! It appeared, it disappeared but now it's back - Motorola's ROM update for the Motorola Q Windows Mobile Smartphone.
This ROM update is focused on enhancing enterprise functionality like adding the Microsoft Security Feature Pack (MSFP) which, together with Microsoft Exchange 2003 (SP2), includes Direct Push Technology, global address book lookup and enhanced mobile device management and security, including the ability to remotely wipe data from devices and options for stronger encryption of data.
Other features contains the long time missing Dial-up Networking (DUN) connectivity which is now added and part of the Q. Users can have broadband-like EVDO download speeds on their laptop by using their Motorola Q as a wireless modem via USB or Bluetooth for an additional fee. The software update also enables improved browser navigation as well as other improvements since it is based on Microsoft's AKU 2.

Motorola Q users can now get the update for free from Motorola's support site.

Cheers ~ Arne
