Upgrade: T-Mobile Germany finally released the WM 2003 upgrade for MDA I

After the release of several US Windows Mobile 2003 upgrades (including the T-Mobile USA upgrade), T-Mobile Germany finally released the long awaited MDA I upgrade which is available free of charge as download from T-Mobile Germany.

With the Windows Mobile 2003 version you get a new and improved Pocket PC Phone Edition version for the MDA I

Please note that this update is in German and intended to be used on German T-Mobile MDA I's only. Also you need a German MSISDN (phone number) to download the ROM.

Now, if only o2 would follow... :-( Oh, and before someone asks: no, it's not Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition but 2003 "only". I don't think we will see SE for the old MDA I anymore but hey, a free 2003 upgrade is appreciated anyway.

Cheers ~ Arne

@sam: I don't know why they don't provide the 2003 update for their 1010 also I don't have any contacts to them to share an address with you. Sorry.

Not sure if the other ROM upgrades work but there might be a good chance to tweak the installation.

Cheers ~ Arne
