The Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition allows you to request delivery notifications for SMS text messages. However with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Pocket PC Phone Edition devices, you can not enable this feature as default setting (which you can with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Smartphones like the i-mate SP3i or the Orange C500) to always get the delivery notification but you have to activate it per SMS message you send.

Now, has posted a patch which you can simply install on your Windows Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition (according to the following devices are supported: SPV M1000/M2000 = O2 Xda II/Xda III/IIs, Qtek 2020/9090/S100 and Ipaq 934X) to enable the delivery notification as default setting.

In addition, also has a Beta version to enable the same feature on the HTC Voyager (aka Orange SPV E200/i-mate Smartphone2).

Cheers ~ Arne
