While
Windows Live and Windows Live Messenger are preinstalled on most Windows Mobile
smartphones, not all carriers have preinstalled it - unfortunately. However, if
Windows Live is one of the services you use, Microsoft has just released the a
new Windows Live client for your Windows Mobile smartphone which is now
available for Windows Mobile Standard and Professional devices. If you have
Windows Live already installed on your device, you will need to uninstall it
first. To do that, go to Settings->Remove Programs, select Windows Live entry
from the list (if any) and click Remove.
With Microsoft's new Windows Live Mobile client you will be able to:
- Synchronize Live contacts with your contacts on the device
- Synchronize your Live E-Mail (msn, hotmail, live)
- View graphics, web links and contact photos in E-Mails
- Respond to E-Mails with voice recordings
- Upload photos to your Windows Live Spaces

Nevertheless, there is still no Windows Live Messenger Mobile client
available from Microsoft
