UTILITY: "Remote" Mobile Registry Editor for Windows Mobile

If you are looking for a remote Registry Editor for Windows Mobile devices which lets you edit the registry from your PC instead of installing an editor on your device, your search might has an end now:

As its name might suggest Mobile Registry Editor is an application that can be used to edit the registry of Windows Mobile devices. I wrote it because I wanted an application that would allow me to browse the registry on my Smartphone from my PC. With it you can browse the registry, edit values, export keys and save your favorite keys.

Features such as renaming, creating and deleting keys/values aren't on the top of my priority list so I've left them out for now.

This little application works pretty good and I've tested it with different devices. It even works on devices which are security locked and doesn't allow to install that kind of system utilities.
It requires the .NET framework (as many cool new applications) which can be downloaded for free from Microsoft.

Cheers ~ Arne

What's different here from the remote registry editor that is part of the Embedded Visual Tools since years?

[1] There is no real difference expect not everybody is a developer and installed Embedded Visual Tools. This is a plain, flat remote Reg Editor for "end users" without plans to start developing (like me ;-))
