UTILITY: Sprite Software Sprite Migrator helps to upgrade your Palm Treo 750 to WM6

Last week, AT&T and Palm finally released the long awaited Treo 750 Windows Mobile 6 ROM upgrade but as with all ROM updates and upgrades, you will loose all your existing data on your device. While some can be back-up'd (like Outlook data and files), others will be lost forever. That's where Sprite Migrator for Treo 750 comes into the game. Sprite Migrator assists migrating settings and data from the Windows Mobile 5.0 Treo 750 to the Windows Mobile 6 upgraded Treo 750. The tool will restore all SMS, MMS, Call History, Favorites*/Bookmarks*, Power Settings, Alarms, My Documents folder*, Speed Dial entries, Contacts*, Appointments*, Tasks*, etc.

With * marked settings and documents can be synchronized using ActiveSync/Windows Mobile Device Center anyway.

Looks like a handy tool, especially if you are not a Windows Mobile speciallist and in the ROM update and upgrade "business".
Sprite Migrator for Treo 750 is available from Sprite Software and costs US$ 9.95. While it's not mentioned, I'm sure the same program can also be used as a back-up utility for your Palm Treo 750.

Cheers ~ Arne

It's never too late for new software. Maybe you can reuse it for an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1 (if Palm is going to offer it)...?  big_smile
