Xetra recently upgraded (my all-time favorite Smartphone application) xBar as version 2.6 and in addition of two new features, xBar also supports Pocket PCs now!
In addition, xBar 2.6 also includes a 2 hours trial version - the biggest concern I had in the past that there was no trial version available.

I've used xBar on my Pocket PC for the past weeks and it's as handy on the Pocket PC as it is ont he Smartphone because it lets you quickly switch between applications/launch applications without using the stylus - even more handy if you walk or while you are in the car (switching between navigation and other apps).

Features

  • The launcher includes a tiny built-in file explorer with folder support and left/right scrolling
  • Now you can install xBar wherever you want (main memory or storage card)
  • Pocket PC: Full stylus support
  • Pocket PC: You can use the system settings to assign xBar to any key you wantto use

xBar is available for 6,00 Euro/US$ 9,99 from Xetra, Handango and Smartphone.net. If you bought xBar 2.x before, you can use your current key to upgrade to 2.6 on both platforms, Smartphone and Pocket PC. The trial version is limited to a two hours use. To activate the trial mode, enter 00000 as your registration key.

Cheers ~ Arne
