So, the summer is over now - not only physically but by vacation also and after 2 weeks of staying away from home and enjoying the last summer sun 8) in beautiful Croatia (Losinj) it's time to step back to work. :-(
A big, big thanks to Carlo for keeping PPCW.Net up to date and providing us interesting news and views.
It seems it will really become a busy fall as I've said in my previous holiday announcement and Carlo already reported about it with his great O2 xda II coverage as well as with the E-TEN P700 and 300 announcements plus we can expect more from the Smartphone front (Motorola Motorola MPx200, HTC Voyager, MiTAC 8390, etc).
But I've also worked on some other projects during my vacation I will tell you about later next months. So when I haven't enjoyed the great Croatian nature:
I've worked with my Notebook on different stuff:
or tried to follow two of my E-Mail accounts (only):
Following E-Mails is a good catchword: My primary carrier O2 hasn't GPRS roaming in place with the Croatian networks but one of my secondary carriers - Vodafone - only. But for what costs... All together the roaming costs me around 200 € 8O and because my DSL provider maintained my connection my PC disconnected (read here how I fight against Spam in my Inbox)while I was away with the result that I got all the Spams on my xda as well (which costs me, I've counted it, around 15 - 20 €). Thanks damn spammers! Thanks to your Spam mails I haven't any pocket money anymore to enlarge my... :x You know what I mean... ;-)
But anyway, now (or better tomorrow - today is weekend) I have to trace a lot of E-Mails I got from you so if you have mailed me anything please be patient:
I will read every mail but it might take a little bit longer as you can see above. Also more about the news I've mentioned before later during October!
Also I have to check now PocketGear and Smartphone.net for some interesting new Pocket PC and Smartphone software I've already seen there. So I think it will become a busy week since I have to check the Microsoft Newsgroups as well and we have the "Wiesn" aka Oktober Fest is town... ;-)
Cheers ~ Arne
