GIGA-BYTE Communications recently unveiled the GSmart MS808, GIGA-BYTE's new flagship Windows Mobile smartphone, which the Taiwanese Windows Mobile specialist publically showed first time during the Mobile World Congress earlier this month. The MS808 is a quite good looking Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone but it's not good looking only, it's also a real power-house featuring quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE and singleband UMTS/HSDPA which is powered by a Marvell PXA310 CPU at 624 MHz.

Furthermore, quite typical for GSmart devices, the MS808 supports DVB-T, DVB-H, T-DMB, and/or DAB while the device will be preconfigured to work with DVB-T and DVB-H. And for sure, also this GSmart device will sports a VGA touchscreen which measures the 2.8". The autofocus main camera on the back supports 3 megapixel while the front facing camera is used for 3G video telephony:

According to GIGA-BYTE Communications, the GSmart MS808 can be expected in Q3-2008. An estimated retail price wasn't given yet

Cheers ~ Arne

I wonder where Giga-Byte market their products? I've never seen them sold over here in Australia, neither at reputable online stores such as Expansys?

Well, I'm not sure about Giga-Byte's Australian plans but at least there are plans to finally expand to Europe now, as Giga-Byte told us at the Mobile World Congress.

As you said, in the past it was always difficult to get one of their devices but I hope this will change in the near future. The devices are quite interesting and unique in some parts and worth to be distributed on a wider range of countries.
