Early January, Microsoft has officially unveiled what it plans to improve with its upcoming NoDo update for Windows Phone 7 and while NoDo will include a lot of under the hood improvements, the user relevant changes and improvements are the introduction of copy and paste (which allows to copy texts from E-Mails, text messages, web pages, Office Mobile documents, etc. and paste it anywhere you can type), better Marketplace search (searching within the apps or games hub section of the Marketplace will finally only return apps or games in the results) and faster apps start (apps and games will start-up and resume much faster).
The first part of the video shows the copy & paste feature across different applications while the second part shows the Marketplace search with showing only apps as results and the last part of the video shows the fast apps start and resume!
The the above demo was done with a test ROM. NoDo is yet not available for end users but it's expected that Microsoft will release it anytime later this March through its Windows Phone 7 update service.
Cheers ~ Arne
