VOIP: Santa Cruz Networks released vSkype Beta video plug-in for Skype

From Santa Cruz Networks comes the second video plug-in for Skype. Some days after Dialcom released Video4Skype, now we have the second plug-in available which looks even better (just my humble opinion).

Just connect a camera, download the free vSkype plug-in and invite up to 200 buddies to a video call - even if they don't have a camera. But there's more! You can also share anything you see on your screen, even your entire desktop! Whether you use Skype for business or to connect with family and friends, now you can show a presentation, work on a spreadsheet, or share photos of your weekend fun while seeing everyone on the call!

The vSkype is available for free in a Beta version from Santa Cruz Networks. Now I wonder when we will see such a video plug-in for Pocket PCs? Maybe Micrsoft's Portrait developers and Skype should team up here. ;-)

Cheers ~ Arne

Seems to be better integrated than Spontania's video, which requires a separate window. I'm still sticking to MSN Messenger for video though, since it has better quality. I haven't tried this new plugin though.
