WIRELESS: Bluetake announced its BT500+ Bluetooth Rechargeable Mini Mouse

If it comes to mice for travelers, it's always hard to get a "one fits all" answer but I for myself definitely prefer Bluetooth mice since my Notebook is equipped with a built-in Bluetooth adapter and therefore I don't need another dongle to use a wireless mouse, not to talk about annoying cables of wired mice.
So far, for me, the state of the art Bluetooth mouse came from Think Outside (see my review here) but now, Bluetake has released a competitor with some attracting features.
The BT500+ is equipped with 10 meters radio coverage, 800dpi optical resolution, and super mini size, those features make BT500+ becomes the best Bluetooth HID device for traveling users.

Further more, and that's interesting, the USB recharging design and bundled 700mA Ni-MH rechargeable battery provides user the continuous operation time even in the recharging status. So no more expensive battery replacements anymore which is also way better for the environment.

Unfortunately, while the mouse supports a lot of operating systems, it seems it's not supporting Windows Mobile yet because, as far as I've seen, Windows Mobile 5.0 - even if it supports the required HID profile - isn't supporting Bluetooth mice. On the other hand, Bluetake isn't offering a Windows Mobile compliant driver yet, to use the mouse with Pocket PCs or even Smartphones.
Nevertheless, for Notebook-travelers, this mouse can be a real alternative to the current mouse.

Cheers ~ Arne
