WIRELESS FUN: V2R's Caller2Picture is available for commercial download now

Caller2Picture adds more fun to your Microsoft’s Pocket PC Phone Edition devices such as the o2 xda or the T-Mobile Phone Edition. While a Phone Edition device notifies incoming calls with the caller name, company and phone number (if available from the contacts database) only; Caller2Picture adds an image of the caller also.

Caller2Picture allows assigning one picture for all contact phone numbers as well as assigning different images for the diverse phone numbers of a contact. As an example this could be a serious picture for the office number as well as a casual picture for the home number.

After heavy Beta testing and great input from the users, Caller2Picture 1.1 is now available for US$ 9.95 only. While the test version is limited to 3 contacts only, the full version works with an unlimited amount of contacts.

Cheers ~ Arne

YES!!! Finally! It worked for me since the first Beta and now I can assign more than the 3 contacts only - yes. :-) For me Caller2Picture is a must have Phone Edition application. Thanks Arne for your good work! :-)

MS should have included this functionality by default...

This is the application MS should have included in the PPC Phone.

Does the software then synchronise the contactwith outlook on your desktop including the photos? What I'm getting at is after going to the trouble of assigning the photos to a contact is is backed up on your PC? Or would you loose it all if your Pocket PC was stolen?

Caller2Picture adds its own folder to the Pocket PC which you could backup by yourself. However, this isn't synchronized with Desktop Outlook but anyway - you can backup it by yourself!
